Break A Leg Dance Battle is a collaboration between Meervaart, Jurskee from Amsterdam Breaking Community, Gregory Shaggy from Stichting Free & Style and Vince Charming Productions.
The goal of Break A Leg is to unite hip-hop culture. Each year, we organize a major festival at Meervaart, along with a variety of masterclasses, workshops, and battles throughout the year.
The entrance fee is €20 per person.

Break A Leg
Dance Battle
Break A Leg’s mission is to unite dancers and promote hiphop dance culture. Break A Leg has grown over the last 16 years into an international dance event, with performances, crew competitions, battles, workshops, DJ’s, live art and panel discussions.
Our main event Break A leg Dance Battle will take place on March 1st 2026 at Meervaart in Amsterdam. During the rest of the year we organise battles, workshops and masterclasses.
